Our Story

Our company was founded in 1959 from the artistic passion of sculptor Renato Celsan.

From a very young age Renato Celsan cultivated an interest in sculpture, a passion that stemmed from the inspiration of his father, who often accompanied him to admire the works of art carved in stone. Contemplating those masterpieces made by ancient masters, he thus became passionate about the craft and realized that this was his path. He worked in an important workshop in Veneto, learning thesculptural art from master craftsmen. Among them he knows Nereo Quagliato, one of the greatest artists of the city of Vicenza, with whom he embarked on a series of collaborations.

In ’59 he opened his own business, working first for a municipal entity and then carrying out multiple projects that enabled him to gain prestige and an excellent reputation in the field. After hard work, willpower and tenacity in ’64 he realized his dream: to build his own laboratory. Through participation in fairs and cultural events, his artistic talents and creative aptitudes are appreciated nationwide, and his skills as a craftsman are also in demand abroad.

To this day, Renato Celsan still puts his heart into his work: he does not give up passing on his knowledge and experience to pass on the centuries-old tradition of master stone craftsmen that has always sculpted his life.

Together with his daughter Anna and husband Robert, to whom he has passed on the same love and passion for his world, he looks to the future by proving himself forward-looking and ready to discover new aspects of his art, from sculptures to architectural elements. Over the years, the company has embraced all kinds of workmanship and projects from the world of stone, so much so that it boasts achievements ranging from interior decorating to finishing, from architectural elements to outdoor achievements.

Today the company Celsan Renato is a company with a 60-year history. 60 years of hard work. 60 years of commitment. 60 years of determination. Each realization is thought out, studied, and built giving new life to the stone with each stroke of the chisel.
